My heart aches. This is another reason I started the UCP Foundation and continue to fight for change.  Bad apples come from rotten trees.  You see it does not matter the race, but the uniform.  It’s the culture and it has to change.  Some people are shocked, but I am not.  This has been happening for years.  White officers have done the same thing to white individuals,  black officers, as you see here have done it to black individuals, Latino officers have done it to Latinos and so on.  The bad apples do it to all people regardless of race.  Some receive more of a response than others.  Some folks just settle and walk away and the vicious cycle continues.  But it has to end.  If you are interested in being a part of the change, please let me know.  We are currently reorganizing our advisory board.  We have individuals, police, lawyers, judges, community members, activists who are committed to genuine change and protecting safety and lives. Join the fight today!

Justice is blind or colorblind?

If you only see “color” when “serving and protecting”, you have no business on the police force, prosecuting or overseeing cases.
