Consequences and Accountability

No real consequences or accountability means repeatedly offending in most cases. This goes across the board and includes criminals, whether in uniform or not; public officials, police, judges, lawyers, citizens etc. If there are no real consequences or accountability, there is no need for change, right? Why change if one will not be held accountable? This is just one of the reasons history continues to repeat itself and it seems like the same folks are getting away with criminal and sometimes very disturbing behavior. We need accountability in order to witness real change.
